Ask ChatGPT about your receipts

Connect Tracklified to ChatGPT and ask questions about your spending — down to the line item.

Connect your Tracklified account to ChatGPT and your receipts become something you can ask questions about. Not "where did I swipe my card" — your bank already knows that. What you bought.

  • "What did that $9.23 Amazon charge actually buy?"
  • "How much HSA-eligible spending do I have this year?"
  • "Find every receipt with batteries on it."
  • "Summarize my grocery spending by item category this month."

ChatGPT reads your receipts through a secure, read-only connection. It can search and summarize; it can never edit, delete, or add anything.

Requirements

  • A ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan (custom connectors aren't available on ChatGPT Free)
  • A Tracklified account with some receipts in it

Connect

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors.

  2. Under Advanced, enable Developer mode (one-time toggle).

  3. Choose Add custom connector and enter exactly:

    https://app.tracklified.com/api/mcp

  4. ChatGPT redirects you to Tracklified's sign-in. Sign in and approve the consent screen.

  5. Done. Start a new chat and ask about your receipts.

Only add the connector using the address above. That's the only official Tracklified connector URL.

What ChatGPT can see

When you ask a relevant question, ChatGPT can search your receipts and line items, fetch a receipt's full details (including its image), read your spending summaries, and match card charges against your receipts. It sees your data only in response to your questions, and only for your account.

Every access is logged, and the connection is read-only by design — there is no way to change your data through it.

Disconnect

Remove the connector in ChatGPT's Settings → Connectors — ChatGPT discards its access at that point. If you also want the authorization revoked on Tracklified's side, email support@tracklified.com and we'll revoke it immediately.

Privacy notes

  • The connection uses OAuth — ChatGPT never sees your Tracklified password, and no API keys are involved.
  • OpenAI's handling of what you share in chats is governed by their privacy policy. If you don't want receipt contents in your ChatGPT history, don't ask about them there.
  • Receipt images are shared via short-lived links that expire after about an hour.
