Searching your receipts

Find any receipt by typing any word that might appear on it.

The receipts page has a search bar at the top. Type any term that might appear on a receipt and Tracklified looks for it across a broad set of fields.

What search looks at

Search is keyword-based. It matches across:

  • Merchant name
  • Line items (descriptions and categories)
  • Labels
  • Totals (approximate numeric matching)
  • Receipt numbers / order IDs when present
  • Medical fields (provider, patient, service type) on receipts that have them
  • Source keywords like email, gmail, drive, photos, extension, or scan — useful for finding receipts from a particular source

Examples:

  • coffee — Starbucks, Blue Bottle, any line item mentioning coffee
  • amazon — all Amazon orders
  • 15.99 — receipts where that amount appears
  • gmail — receipts imported from Gmail

Filters vs search

For structured filtering, use the filter controls on the receipts page:

  • Status chips (All / Needs Review / Reviewed)
  • Category dropdown
  • Label dropdown

Combine filters and search together. A label filter plus a merchant search works the way you'd expect.

Dedicated pages for date-based views

The receipts page itself doesn't expose a date-range picker today. For date-bounded views, use:

  • HSA/FSA (/dashboard/hsa) — year-based filter
  • Tax Deductions (/dashboard/tax) — year-based filter
  • Calendar view on the receipts page — one-month window
